Pro Bono: Attorneys Volunteering Legal Services to Improve Our Community

Legal Aid is privileged to receive the volunteer services and financial contributions from members of the Orange County Bar Association and other attorneys practicing in Orange County.

Since 1961, members of the Orange County Bar Association have supported the Legal Aid Society by creating an expectation of pro bono work from each member. Currently, over 2,500 attorneys participate.

We need your help and welcome your participation in our pro bono program. By 2004, volunteer attorneys were contributing over 12,000 hours on cases and projects. They accepted 1200 new cases, participated in eight projects, and donated over $400,000. Come join us and take advantage of these opportunities to serve your community.
