M. COWHERD AND MARWA M. ZEINI
RECOGNIZED FOR OUTSTANDING PRO BONO WORK
Barbara
M. Cowherd and Marwa M. Zeini received the 2006 New Lawyer
awards from the Legal Aid Society because they have contributed a
significant
amount of time to pro bono work for families and children.
Barbara M. Cowherd of Bailey & Myers, P.A. was recognized for her
work as a Guardian ad Litem and for participation in the Homeless Advocacy
Project. Barbara donated hundreds of hours on her first GAL case and
has continued her work on behalf of children. She practices in the
area of personal injury as well as estate planning, probate and gurdianship.
Barbara
is a graduate of UCF and Stetson College of Law in 2000 cum laude.
She was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2001.
Marwa
M. Zeini of the Law Offices of Marwa Zeini, P.A., practices in the
area of family law, estate planning, bankruptcy and corporate work.
She was recognized for her work as a Guardian ad Litem. She handled
three family law cases and served as GAL for 19 children. Marwa is
an especially committed advocate for teenagers.
Marwa graduated from University of Florida with a BA in 1996, an
MBA in 2000 and a JD with honors in 2000.
